At Water Softener Canada, your privacy matters to us. We’re committed to protecting your personal information and being transparent about how it’s collected, used and safeguarded.

Eligibility for Returns

  • Products may be returned within 30 days of delivery.
  • Returned items must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging.
  • There is a restocking fee of 20% of invoice amount

Custom or special-order systems may not be eligible for return.

Information We Collect

  1. Contact hello@watersoftener.ca with your order number and reason for return.
  2. Our team will review and provide a return authorization and shipping instructions.
  3. Once the product is received and inspected, we’ll issue your refund (minus any shipping or handling costs).

Process

We collect information that helps us serve you better, including:

  • Personal details such as your name, address, email, and phone number.
  • Order details, payment information, and installation addresses.
  • Information you provide through our quiz, forms, or consultations.
  • Technical data like your IP address, browser type, and device for site optimization.

Installed Products

Because our systems are professionally installed, once installation is complete, returns are handled as service issues rather than standard refunds. If you experience performance concerns, contact our support team, we’ll arrange a technician visit or replacement under warranty where applicable.

Refunds

Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days after inspection. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your system arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We’ll arrange a replacement or repair at no additional cost.
